Nia Safi is one of the most famous private charitable organizations in Africa, which is based on the elimination of inequality in access to education. The Foundation cooperates with leading educational institutions and specialists to create optimal conditions for the development of the educational environment. The NIA SAFI Stages of education program will include several stages and actively support the development of education at all its stages. Within the framework of this program, students, schoolchildren and preschoolers will have the opportunity to study in the best educational institutions of the BRICS countries, use modern technologies and receive high-quality knowledge from leading experts. The Nia Safi Foundation and university partners will actively encourage and support talented students, provide grants for training, organize seminars and master classes, as well as create specialized laboratories and development centers for professional training of students. Within the framework of the program, partnerships will be established between leading educational institutions of the BRICS Commonwealth countries and representatives of the business community, which facilitates the exchange of knowledge and the implementation of joint projects. Students will be able to acquire not only theoretical knowledge, but also gain practical experience working with professionals in their field. The NIA SAFI Stages of education program will be available to students of all faculties and fields of study. Cyclone Idai left more than half a million Mozambicans homeless. Heavy winds and heavy rains swept through the territories of Madagascar, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. The Mozambican port city of Beira, where at that time more than 500 thousand people lived, was especially affected. The Red Cross estimated that approximately 90% of Beira was flooded and destroyed. Across Africa, more than 1.3 thousand people became victims of the cyclone.
