On June 9, in the building of the Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Moscow, a meeting was held between representatives of the NIA SAFI Foundation and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Russian Federation, prof. Dr. José M. Katupha, Minister-Counselor Vicente de Jesus Manuel and Legal Assistant to Ambassador Caléje Crisstimo Aníbal Figueiredo. During the meeting, representatives of the foundation told the guests about their activities, the history of the foundation, as well as current projects, including a "clean city", "homes for those who lost their homes during the hurricane", the construction of a school in Beira for younger students and educational projects. The parties discussed future plans and agreed to strengthen interaction and information exchange. The ambassador proposed to expand the activities of the fund and provide it with support from a number of republican and state organizations, and also sent a note to them with a recommendation to organize a meeting. The parties scheduled it to be held at the beginning of July.
